Summertime

The other morning I snapped a picture of my dog Bean. It was time to get up but she was laying on my feet and stubbornly still trying to sleep. Of course, when I took the picture she’s looking all innocent.

There isn’t time for much sleep right now. I’m working a full time job, getting ready for another round of college and writing.

Did I mention Convincing Him is finished my first edits and revisions? I’m so happy about that because it means unless I’ve fallen into a major plot hole, the book is on schedule to publish! Gabe and Brit’s story is with my editor.

Gabe has been a resistant character. He had convinced himself that he wasn’t sure love existed or that it could be trusted. It was tough to find his motivation and have him acknowledge that he had been ignoring his feelings for Britney all along.

Britney has loved Gabe forever it feels like. But did she love him, or what he represents to her? She needed to explore her feelings as well.
